Schools Out!!!

The school year has finally ended much to Sean and Izzy's delight. We kicked off our summer vacation with some coloring and tummy time--do we know how to live it up or what?!?! Actually, Izzy was running a fever so we took it easy for a change. We're so proud of Izzy and her coloring skills. No more "scribble scrabble" as she calls it. Although I'd like to take credit for her budding fine motor skills, all the credit goes to her preschool teachers. As you can see in this picture, she is very focused on staying in the lines.
After spending time indoors, we decided to take advantage of the sunshine by going for a walk before the rains came. Izzy proudly wears the sun visor she made at school. We're making her walk the whole time to burn up what seems to be an endless supply of energy. If only they could bottle the energy of a three-year old. Imagine what we adults could accomplish!
Later in the afternoon, after mommy mowed the lawn and Sean trimmed some of the plants, we enjoyed some juicy watermelon. Can you tell we're from Georgia? Ha!
