Now that Luke is soon to enter this world, I thought I'd give this whole blogger thing another whirl. Hopefully posting has become a little easier. I figured this is an easy way to keep loved ones up to date with how things are going. I'm really hoping to improve my skills and be able to post some video on here too but no promises.
Sean, Izzy and I are counting down the days until my due date. Although the original date is March 21st, it's likely I'll go into labor much sooner than that. Of course there's no medical basis for this statement, just mother's intuition/wishful thinking. I'm measuring quite large (35 cm as of Jan 16th) which means I'm either further along than 32 weeks OR, Luke's going to be even bigger than my Izzy (she was just 1 ounce shy of 8lbs). I'm fearful of the second option-ha!
Sean and I are so looking forward to seeing how Izzy handles the new baby. She's so loving and nurturing that I think she's going to be wonderful and quite a help to me but she is also used to getting ALL of our attention so we'll see. She's just a wonderful and amazing girl that we also don't know what to expect of Baby Luke. We already don't deserve such a wonderful child as Izzy so it seems so unlikely lightening will strike twice. I have a feeling he won't be the demure little flower Izzy is. Either way, we can't wait to get to know his personality and fall head over heals in love with him as we did with our Izzy.
